AKUJET garnet is 2 to 4 times harder and up to 2 times denser than ordinary abrasives such as coal slag, staurolite or crushed glass. A harder and denser abrasive means reduced processing time, a uniform surface profile and better coating adhesion.

AKUJET garnet is a natural, non-ferrous, inert mineral containing less than 0.1% respirable crystalline silica and no heavy metals. It produces less dust than most blasting abrasives, which improves visibility on the job site, reduces disruption in adjacent areas, and promotes better working conditions.
